Piraeus Container Terminal (PCT) commenced operations on 1 October 2009 and will be converted into the first large scale state-of-the-art modern container terminal in Greece. It will be a challenging but achievable task to win the confidence of the customers to bring the container throughput to the peak volumes of 3.7m TEUs. However, with a multi-talented, dedicated and highly motivated workforce led by a very professional management team, I’m confident to turn around the Company to be the leading container terminal in Greece and the East Mediterranean region.
